OpenText RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 1 Is Now Available!

OpenText RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 1 is Now Available!

The OpenText Fax and Document Distribution Group is pleased to announce the release of RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 1.

Feature Pack 1 is a cumulative update containing new features, enhancements, and a collection of bug fixes. OpenText recommends the installation of Feature pack 1 for all RightFax 10.6 server and client installations. It includes a number of important fixes which may be essential to the operating environment. For a complete list of fixed issues and installation instructions, refer to the RightFax 10.6 FP1 Release Notes.

Windows 2012 R2 Support
Installing RightFax on Windows 2012 R2 is now supported. In addition RightFax now supports Windows 2012 R2 Clustering and Remote Desktop Services.
Windows 8.1 Support
RightFax clients can now be installed on Windows 8.1 desktops.
RightFax Web Reporter
RightFax reporting through a web browser.
Dialogic SDK 6.7.0
RightFax now uses Dialgoic SDK 6.7.0 with Dialogic transports.
Citrix Xen Server
RightFax is now supported on Citrix Xen Server.
RightFax Web API SDK 1.0
Allows the RightFax Express Web API to communicate with RightFax 10.6 FP1 servers.

If the Doctransport module that sends a RightFax Connect job is not available, the status of the outbound fax will not be updated until the Doctransport module is available again.

More Information
RightFax Web Reporter runs reports for the user logged on to the RightFax Web Reporter website. RightFax group administrators can run reports for RightFax users that are members of the groups they administer.
RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 1 will add the RightFax application to Adobe's ProtectedModeWhitelistConfig.txt file.  There is a new install switch for this feature when implementing silent installs.
